is the brainchild of Scott Russell Allen. Scott is an American visual artist working in a wide range of media.

 

A life-long crafter, Scott’s first job out of High School was Craft Director at YMCA Camp Whittle in Big Bear, California… an entire summer of teaching and sharing the joy of crafting. Growing up in a family where everyone had their own personal crafting adventures…Crafting and Making have played an important role throughout his life.

 

His work centers around a graphic simplicity inspired by pop culture and the works of past masters. He is a big fan of Hergé, Howard Pyle, Martha Stewart, Jim Henson, Mary Blair, Charles Schulz, Keith Haring and Paul Rand.

 

Born and raised in the beautiful San Fernando Valley, Scott earned a BFA from Art Center College of Design. He is an author of books for children and also a former Disney Imagineer. His studio workshop is in Santa Monica, California.
